This position offers negotiable pay , comprehensive malpractice coverage , and complimentary travel and lodging . Job Overview: Location: Southern Virginia (rural setting near Richmond, VA) Start Date: June 23, 2025, or as soon as credentialed Duration: Approximately 9 months (or until full-time roles are filled) Schedule: 3 eight-hour shifts per week (weekdays only) Call: None Patient Volume: ~20 patients per day Setting: Outpatient Primary Care Exam Rooms: 6 EMR: EPIC Support Services Onsite: Laboratory, phlebotomy, POC testing Practice Population: All ages – Adult, Pediatric, Newborn, Geriatric Duties & Procedures: Adult Outpatient Care (no ICU/CCU) Pediatric/Newborn Care (>2000g) Pelvic Exams / Pap Smears (optional but helpful) Minor procedures: Suturing of minor lacerations Incision & Drainage (I&D) Psychiatric: Uncomplicated adult cases only (on-site behavioral health provider available) No supervision required No hospital or ED backup coverage Compensation & Benefits: Pay Rate: Negotiable Malpractice Insurance: Comprehensive, provided Travel & Lodging: Provided Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Active Virginia license BLS Must be comfortable seeing patients across all age groups in an outpatient setting Must be able to begin assignment around June 23, 2025 This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a flexible, low-call, outpatient role in a collaborative and well-supported practice environment.
