Doctor of Medicine | Hospitalist Location: North Carolina Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. Starting Mar 9, 2026, this opportunity involves 24-hour ED call shifts, making rounds on the floor, and providing care in a unit. The schedule consists of 7-10 shifts per month. Job Details Location: North Carolina Start Date: Mar 9, 2026 LOA: 42 days Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Hospitalist Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7-10 shifts per month; includes rounding and ED call coverage Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24-hour emergency department call coverage Make daily rounds on pediatric patients admitted to the unit Oversee care for a unit, including managing overflow from other units Maintain accurate and timely documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care Additional Information Must have active North Carolina medical license Board certification required in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required Experience in pediatric inpatient and emergency care preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
