Doctor of Medicine | Hospitalist Location: Wisconsin Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Hospitalist for a locum tenens assignment in Wisconsin covering 63 days, starting Apr 6, 2026. This position offers nocturnist 12-hour night shifts, with a flexible schedule of 7 to 30 shifts per month. The Hospitalist will manage inpatient care, new admissions, and emergencies in a dynamic hospital setting. Job Details Location: Wisconsin Start Date: Apr 6, 2026 LOA: 63 days Provider Type Needed: Hospitalist Schedule: 7p-7a, 7 to 30 nocturnist shifts per month Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to patients admitted overnight Manage new patient admissions from the Emergency Department or other sources Respond to acute medical issues and emergencies during night shifts Complete accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EHR system Coordinate care with nursing staff, social services, utilization management, and other interdisciplinary teams Work independently with limited ancillary support and specialist availability overnight Admit, follow, and manage all patients in the open ICU (no procedures required) Additional Information Wisconsin medical license required Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required Experience working independently and strong problem-solving skills preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
