Overview: We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to provide comprehensive obstetric care, including on-call duties and clinic responsibilities, during weekend shifts. Required Skills: Valid medical license in the applicable state(s) Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) Proven experience in obstetrics, including on-call and clinical duties Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage high-pressure situations and emergencies effectively Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in full-scope obstetrics, including labor, delivery, and postpartum care Prior locum or temporary physician experience Knowledge of current obstetric guidelines and protocols Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of obstetric practice experience post-residency Previous experience with hospitalist services or in a similar setting is highly desirable Other Requirements: Willingness to work during weekends and on-call hours for OB services Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred Eligible for relevant state medical credentials and licensure Travel and licensure-related reimbursements provided when applicable The hourly pay rate for this role is $234.00, offering a highly competitive financial package.
