Required Skills: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Active and unrestricted medical license in Virginia or eligibility for licensure Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetric specialization Proven experience in obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently during assigned shifts Nice to Have Skills: Previous experience as a hospitalist or in a hospital-based OB setting Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Additional certifications in Advanced Life Support (ACLS, ACOG) or neonatal resuscitation Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program Minimum of 2 years of obstetric hospitalist experience or equivalent clinical practice Current board certification in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with obstetrics focus Other Requirements: Availability to start on 12/30/2025 Willingness to work weekend shifts (specifically weekends) Valid medical license and current medical malpractice insurance Travel and licensure-related reimbursements when applicable This position offers an hourly pay rate of $214.50, with competitive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), referral bonuses, paid sick leave, and licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements.
