Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Enterprise, AL Employer: SUMO Medical Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to work locum shifts in Enterprise Alabama (AL). Starting in April 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits. The Obstetrics and Gynecology role: OB/GYN to provide 8:00 am – 4:30 pm clinic coverage and 24-hour hospital call Monday through Thursday. This will include outpatient visits, scheduled procedures, and all inpatient OB/GYN call responsibilities. Clinic Coverage (Mon-Thurs) Clinic Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Around 15 patients/day – OB and GYN mix Supported by NP managing GYN and low-acuity OB Clinic EHR: Athena (onsite clinical informatics support during orientation) 11 exam rooms, 2 ultrasound rooms, and 1 dedicated procedure room Clinic is connected to hospital via enclosed skybridge for quick and easy access In-office procedures: colposcopy, LEEP, hysteroscopy, IUD/Nexplanon insertion Hospital Coverage (Mon-Thurs 24hrs) Beeper call with 30-minute response time Average 1-2 deliveries/day Required to perform scheduled and emergent C-sections and GYN surgeries Dedicated OR block time available Hospital EHR: Medhost Pediatric hospitalist support provided 24/7 anesthesia coverage 24/7 Radiologist coverage Full nursing and OR support teams Scheduling Flexibility Provider may take weekday clinic and call only Can expand to include weekend call Full 24/7 schedule option available Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role: AL state license; active, unrestricted Board certified OBGYN AL State DEA BLS, ACLS, NRP and PALS Benefits: Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
