Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate OB Hospitalist to fill a locum position on weekends. As a key provider within our team, you will deliver high-quality obstetric services, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with hospital staff. This role is vital in supporting our hospital’s mission to provide excellent maternal care, all while offering flexible scheduling that fits your lifestyle. Required Skills: Valid and unrestricted Medical License in California Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) or Family Medicine with OB training Proven experience as an OB Hospitalist or Obstetrician in a hospital setting Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery management Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skills Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Nice to Have Skills: Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Prior experience in a locum or temporary position Familiarity with provider scheduling and hospital protocols Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Minimum of 3 years of obstetric practice in a hospital environment Recent hospital-based OB-GYN experience preferred Other Requirements: Availability to work weekends as specified in the shift details Compliance with all hospital, state, and federal regulatory requirements Willingness to travel if needed for assignments and handling applicable travel reimbursements This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills in a flexible, rewarding role with competitive pay.
