Required Skills: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Valid California Medical License and DEA registration Proven experience in obstetrics and inpatient obstetric care Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong patient-focused approach with keen attention to detail Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in a hospitalist setting Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications Prior experience in a locum or temporary staffing role Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in OB hospitalist roles Prior recent experience in hospital-based obstetrics care Other Requirements: Availability to work weekend shifts specifically on weekends Willingness to travel between facilities if needed Up-to-date certifications and licenses as required by law Ability to provide care in a fast-paced hospital environment This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care while enjoying flexible scheduling.
