Doctor of Medicine | Radiology - General/Other Location: California Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a board-certified Radiologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Mar 2, 2026. This opportunity offers a mix of day, evening, and weekend shifts, with a focus on CT and plain films. Candidates must have at least one year of diagnostic experience and be available for the full duration of the assignment. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Radiologist Schedule: Day shift variable starts from 9a-6p (8 hours); Evenings: 3p-12a (9 hours), 5p-12a options; Weekends (Remote) Responsibilities and Duties Interpret a variety of imaging studies including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain films, with an emphasis on CT and plain films No nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast imaging required Preference for candidates skilled in body imaging or with the ability to perform prostate reads Work variable day and evening shifts, including remote weekend coverage Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records Deliver accurate and timely diagnostic reports Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards Additional Information Must have an active, unrestricted California medical license Clean background and malpractice history required Board certification in Radiology is mandatory Minimum 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required DEA license required Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
