Doctor of Medicine | Radiology - Interventional Location: California Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 12, 2026. This 36-day opportunity features day shifts from 8a-4p, with one night of standby call per week and one weekend of coverage every four weeks. Flexible dates and scheduling are available for qualified candidates. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Jan 12, 2026 LOA: 36 days Provider Type Needed: Vascular/Interventional Radiologist Schedule: 8a-4p; first case at 8:30a; after 4p, only on-call radiologist remains unless add-ons require later coverage; nurses and staff depart at 7:30p; standby night call from 7:30p-8a one night per week; one weekend every four weeks Responsibilities and Duties Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in accordance with facility protocols Interpret radiological images and provide consultative input to referring providers Participate in standby night call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled Collaborate effectively with nurses, technologists, and other clinical staff Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and findings Additional Information Active California medical license required Board certification in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology required Flexible schedule and start date considered for the right candidate Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
