This opportunity offers a broad adult cardiothoracic and vascular case mix in a hospital-based setting with strong clinical support. Position Details Shift Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM (24-hour shifts) Weekend Coverage: Yes On-Call Requirements: Yes Practice Setting: Full-service acute care hospital Patient Population: Adult (100%) Coverage Type: Hospital-based (100%) Physician Staffing: 1 Cardiothoracic Surgeon APP Support: 2 Mid-level Providers Hospital Size: 250 beds ICU Beds: 60 Onsite Services: Lab and X-ray EMR: Epic Required Procedures General cardiothoracic and vascular surgery Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) Repair of congenital defects Valvular repair and replacement Aneurysm repair Lung resection, including VATS Chest wall and pleural procedures Esophageal and diaphragm surgeries Carotid and renal endarterectomy Ventilation management Bronchoscopy Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues Requirements Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active Ohio medical license BLS and ACLS certifications We are seeking a Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician to provide coverage at a full-service acute care hospital in Springfield, Ohio.
