Overview
Astino Metal Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Logistic Executive to join their team in Nibong Tebal, Penang. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's transportation and logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance, road tax/insurance renewals and ensure timely PUSPAKOM inspections.
- Manage the company’s drivers, attendants, and trucks, including scheduling and workload coordination to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor and ensure proper vehicle maintenance, including regular cleanliness and safety checks, fuel usage tracking, and truck condition assessments.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and negotiate favourable terms.
