Job Description

The Logistics Officer is responsible for efficiently managing, administering, and coordinating all activities related to the delivery and shipping of materials from the warehouse. It is their duty to ensure that vehicles and heavy equipment are appropriately dispatched to project sites and clients. Effective communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, and other parties is crucial to pick up, deliver, and ship materials and equipment. The Logistics Officer must maintain strict oversight to guarantee the timely and safe delivery of all materials and equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Issue DVIR and SR for equipment with defects.
    1. a. Check the system (Geotab) to see if there's DVIR with Defects.
    2. b. Issue Service Request to Motorpool.
    3. c. Follow up on those SRs that are long due.
  • Monitoring of Equipments through Geotab.
    1. a. Check the watchdog report to see the health of all installed GPS....
