For every new road or bridge that connects people and enables commerce, there was once a fleet of Cat® machines at work—and those machines were once just iron and steel. As a member of our supply chain team, you’ll make sure those raw materials make their way into our factories, where they’re transformed into the products that help build a better world.
**JOB PURPOSE**:
You will work independently with a specialized subset of identified suppliers who pose a greater than normal risk of service loss for the supply chain due to their commodity mix and historical shipping performance. Also work with suppliers to facilitate the execution of planned orders and schedules to fulfill critical customer orders and collaboration which allows independent analysis and related schedule adjustments enabling suppliers to increase velocity on constrained parts.
