Principal Accountabilities

  • Make Operations & Client Servicing a key differentiator for Channel Packaging Pvt. Ltd.
  • Oversee end-to-end operations including logistics, warehouse management and customer servicing across 7 distribution centers.
  • Lead, coach and develop depot and operations teams to improve performance and ensure consistency of service.
  • Ensure timely availability of material at distribution centers by balancing service levels with optimal inventory to minimize working capital and storage costs.
  • Design and implement systems and processes for customer service, inventory control, loss prevention and stock lifecycle management to reduce pilferage, damage and obsolescence.
  • Plan and execute the setup of operations and fulfillment centers in line with the companys growth strategy.
  • Regularly visit depots to audit operations, implement best practices and drive productivity improvements.
  • Develop efficient daily vehicle routing and delivery plans to improve service speed and optimize resource utilization.
  • Produce and analyze MIS reports to monitor depot performance, including cycle counts, vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, inventory discrepancies, petty cash usage and open sales orders.

  • Qualification and Experience

  • Graduate with additional qualifications in Operations Management preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing operations or in a similar role within a distribution, FMCG or e-commerce company.
  • Proven track record in delivering results across the responsibilities listed above.
  • Practical experience with WMS/TMS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) and implementing process improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience producing and interpreting MIS and KPI reports; advanced Excel capability preferred.
  • Experience working with 3PL partners, transport vendors and last-mile delivery networks.
  • Strong persuasive communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and collaborative teamwork abilities; demonstrated people leadership experience.
