Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordination Specialist to ensure smooth operations by managing terminal appointments, supporting dispatch activities, and overseeing fleet operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at keeping everything organized and running efficiently.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate terminal appointments at the Long Beach, Los Angeles, and Oakland ports, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely
- Oversee daily dispatch operations, providing clear instructions to drivers about routes, schedules, and pickups/deliveries
- Monitor the fleet using Samsara GPS tracking software to track truck progress and optimize routes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with terminal staff, shipping lines, and warehouse teams
