About the Role

: - The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the inbound and outbound transportation networks of Aviat Networks International Shipments, encompassing activities from both the Amsterdam and Singapore Distribution Centers. Additionally, the role involves coordinating drop shipments directly from suppliers to our esteemed customer base across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Collaborating closely with multiple departments, the incumbent will strive to ensure a seamless and efficient shipment process, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the shipping coordination from the vendor
  • Daily oversight of unshipped and pending orders in collaboration with the OF team
  • Understand the various ship methods as it relates to ecommerce
  • Extract tracking information and other key data points from carrier websites or other online tools
  • Establish methodology for data mining and distill for analysis
  • Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods via Road, Ocean, and Air modes. Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to designated destinations
  • Analyze transportation routes and identify opportunities to optimize logistics operations, reducing lead times and transportation costs while maximizing efficiency.
  • Identify potential transportation risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address any issues related to transportation delays, damages, or disruptions
  • Maintain open communication channels with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to keep them informed about shipment status, tracking details, and any transportation-related updates
  • Coordinate and oversee pre-shipment inspections to ensure products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications before they are shipped.
  • Handle all aspects of Letter of Credit, including documentation, compliance, and negotiation, to ensure smooth financial transactions with international partners.
  • Leverage expertise in logistics to adapt and integrate newly acquired operations into existing supply chain framework seamlessly
  • Partner closely with colleagues in Sales, Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Operations, PLM, and Supply Chain

    • Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Batchelor degree (preferred) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics department 
  • Good understanding of ecommerce, transportation industry, fulfillment operations and/or customer service
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping practices.
  • Proficient with Oracle ERP System
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to prioritize demands and multi-task to complete objectives 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Able to balance multiple priorities at once and whilst managing time appropriately
  • Able to work cohesively with multiple teams, acute attention to detail
  • Able to build relationships with our external partners, drop-ship vendors, and carriers
  • Able to work under pressure especially at quarter end

    • Salary Range: $10000.0000 Annually
