Position Purpose
: Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for prioritizing orders, responding to inquiries, inputting inventory information into Prism.Principle Accountabilities
1. Schedule and coordinate trucks to deliver product by maximizing the load capacity of our in-house trucks.
2. Determines shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet customer delivery dates.
3. Determines space requirements and position of shipments in bobtails and 53' trucks and lays out position of the shipment.
4. Worked customer service to pull in orders and get fills to ensure we have full trucks on first and second runs.
5. Escalate of missing items to production team and customer service.
6. Communicate with company drivers on routes/dock appts/ETAs.
