Job Description
As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for monitoring shipments and ensuring on-time delivery, while keeping all stakeholders informed and supporting the operations team in maintaining service excellence.
Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to:
Track and monitor in-transit shipments using TMS platforms and carrier portals
Contact drivers and dispatchers to obtain location updates and delivery confirmations
Proactively identify delays, route issues, or service risks and escalate when needed
Update shipment statuses, ETAs, and notes accurately in the TMS
Communicate exceptions clearly to internal teams (Ops, Customer Service, Account Managers)
Confirm pickup and delivery times and obtain PODs when required
Follow established SOPs and escalation processes
Maintain accurate documentation and logs for all shipments
Support operations teams during high-volume periods
