Logistics Intern

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Logistics Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in logistics operations, scheduling, and communication within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will assist in coordinating shipments, updating schedules, and supporting the logistics team to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: Attend Production Meetings: Participate in daily production meetings Monday-Thursday (8:30 AM - 9:00 AM) to stay informed on schedules and priorities. Review Backorder & Overflow Reports: Analyze reports and add items to existing loads where possible to optimize shipments. Monitor Dealer Schedules: Manage and review schedules for smaller accounts to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate Effectively: Coordinate with production teams and customers to confirm shipping schedules and resolve any issues.
