Transportation Operations & Strategy
Manage daily North American transportation activities including truckload, LTL, intermodal, parcel, and expedited shipments.Optimize routing, mode selection, and carrier utilization to improve on-time performance and reduce logistics costs.Develop and maintain a regional transportation strategy aligned with corporate supply chain goals.Lead initiatives to improve network efficiency, reduce freight spend, and enhance service levels. Select, onboard, and manage relationships with carriers, logistics service providers, brokers, and 3PL partners.Negotiate transportation contracts, rates, and service agreements.Monitor carrier performance through KPIs such as on-time delivery, claims, capacity reliability, and responsiveness.
