Logistics Operative RoleWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Operative to join our busy warehouse team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, supporting production and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Logistics Operative
Location: Dewsbury
Hours: Monday to Wednesday 07:00 to 17:00, Thursday 07:00 to 16:30, Friday overtime paid at time and a half
Hourly Rate: £12.60 increased when fully trained, paid weekly
Tenure: Temporary to Permanent Logistics Operative Daily Responsibilities
Health & Safety Compliance: Follow site safety procedures, wear PPE, report hazards, and maintain clean work areas.
Goods Inward: Receive deliveries, check against purchase orders, inspect for damage/discrepancies, record and label stock, and process GRNs on ERP systems.
Stock Management: Store goods in designated areas, conduct cycle counts, monitor fast/slow-moving items, and update WMS.
