Logistics Specialist

• Ensure compliance with directives and corporate/project procedures.
• Once Shipments are released by Madrid Logistics Teams to Indian Vendors, follow up Material readiness/Shipping Documentation Readiness & fixing loading dates schedule.
• Coordinating and communicating with Indian forwarder’ s, following up shipment bookings/containers stuffing/cargo movement to India Sea port as per the vessel schedule on time.
• After shipment Execution, receive confirmation from the forwarders and communicating the same Project Logistics Team-Madrid.
• Visit Vendors, attending meetings as needed and as per the instructions received from Madrid and reverting feedback report to Madrid Logistics Team.
• Attend heavy lift Equipments Transportation and loading Supervision on Vessel @ Indian Sea ports as per the instruction received from Madrid Logistics Team, coordination and communication with vendors and forwarder/Shipping agents and Fixing plan of cargo movements/loading @ Sea Port. After Execution of shipment sending report to Madrid Logistics Team/Manager.
• In charge of Indian Shipments Communication>>Coordination>>Follow up & Execution.
• Control, solve and assist any incident that may come up during the transport process from customs clearance to final destination.

Technical Skills

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Logistics for significant international projects in the refinery, petrochemical, gas and/or energy sectors
• Excellent level of English, both spoken and written
• Working knowledge of other languages, particularly Spanish, would be an advantage.
• International environment
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (outlook, excel, word, …)
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• High knowledge regarding International multimodal transport (sea, air, road & rail)
• High Knowledge of types of industrial equipments and materials is important
• Good communication and interlocution skills, assertiveness and resilience
• Availability to travel
