- Position Summary: The Transportation Specialist is responsible for all Inbound and Outbound Transportation related administrative activities including general freight inquiries, container and carrier track and trace, pre-ship order routing change requests, post-ship order routing change requests, in-transit distressed shipment resolution, freight claims processing, supporting Supply Chain and Customer Experience queries, etc.Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Review and track inbound traffic-related activities coordinating with vendors, procurement, supply chain, freight forwarders, custom brokers, drayage carriers to ensure that documentation is correct and that products are arriving on time to customers and distribution centers.Track outbound traffic-related activities in support of customers, sales, and customer service to ensure that daily transportation requirements are being met.Respond to all pre-ship and post-ship order ro...
