Overview

We are currently recruiting an energetic, results-focused post-secondary student to join our team this summer. This position offers an opportunity to gain experience and to learn about our Logistics team , our Company and the transportation Industry. The Logistics department is a fast-growing brokerage arm of Bison Transport that builds Bison’s network across North America by developing strong relationships with our partner carriers.

Responsibilities

• Track shipments in real-time using tools such as GPS.
• Assist brokers and brokerage staff with day-to-day responsibilities.
• Contact drivers and dispatch by phone to confirm status updates.
• Monitor and update events such as arrivals and departures in various operating systems.
• Identify delays or route deviations and escalate as needed.
