Southern Irrigation is actively looking for a Full-Time Logistics & Yard Person for our Kamloops location. The successful candidate should should excel in attention to detail, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Job Title: Logistics & Yard Person
Location: 7900 Dallas Drive, Kamloops, BC
Job purpose: This position's primary responsibility is to work in the pipe yard and warehouse organizing and storing inventory, as well as ensuring customer orders are gathered, packaged and sent/delivered accurately, efficiently and safely while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized yard and warehouse
- Operate various types of forklifts to unload/load pipe, septic tanks, concrete risers/basins, filter fabric rolls, etc.
- Accept deliveries in yard and receive incoming PO's and transfers
- Store product in designated locations, stock shelves
