About the Role:

As a Longhole Driller at Dumas, you will be responsible for precision drilling of blast holes using Cubex drills in an underground hard rock mining environment. Your role is critical to achieving production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. You will work closely with the drilling team and supervisors to ensure accurate drilling according to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Cubexlonghole drills to drill blast holes according to engineered layouts and specifications.
  • Read and interpret drill patterns, layouts, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure proper alignment and positioning of drill rigs for optimal accuracy.
  • Monitor drilling parameters and adjust as necessary to maintain hole quality and productivity.
