Looking For Mechanical Design Draftsman

DUTIES : Develop detailed 2D and 3D designs and drawings using SolidWorks, AutoDesk Inventor DraftSight and AutoCAD. Collaborate with the sales team to create concept drawings and visual aids for client proposals. Prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and all related documentation required for mechanical design Participate in project review meetings and provide design input to improve manufacturability and e6iciency. Help establish and document design standards, templates, and workflows as part of building our internal design department. Other engineering and documentation duties as assigned by the ownership.QUALIFICATIONS: 2 to 5 years of engineering design and research experience in some capacity in a manufacturing environment The candidate must have either a 3-year technologist diploma or a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. The individual will have working knowledge of mechanical parts, strength of materials and their mechanical properties. Proficiency in SolidWorks and Inventor, or comparable 3D design software, with experience in both modeling and generating mechanical drawings. Experience with custom machine and automation design. Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills. Must be able and willing to work in a team environment. Must be a self-starter and work with minimal direction. Must be willing and able to learn our products and processes.
