Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Physics to join our dynamic education team. This role is critical in shaping the academic and intellectual development of secondary school students by delivering high-quality, engaging, and curriculum-aligned physics instruction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of physics concepts, a proven track record in teaching at the senior secondary level, and a commitment to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry among learners. As a PGT Physics teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing students for board examinations and future STEM careers, contributing to the institution’s mission of academic excellence and holistic student development.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver structured, interactive, and student-centered physics lessons aligned with the CBSE/ICSE/state board curriculum.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and teaching materials that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Conduct regular classroom and laboratory experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts and promote hands-on learning.
  • Monitor student progress through continuous assessment, provide timely feedback, and support struggling learners through remedial strategies.
  • Prepare students for board examinations, competitive entrance exams, and science olympiads with targeted coaching and resources.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to review curriculum content, update teaching methodologies, and participate in faculty development programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and academic progress.
  • Engage in parent-teacher interactions and contribute to school events, science fairs, and extracurricular STEM initiatives.
  • Stay updated with advancements in physics education, pedagogical techniques, and educational technology.



Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics with a Post Graduate (PG) qualification (M.Sc. in Physics or equivalent) from a recognized university.
  • Valid B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification with specialization in Science/Physics.
  • 3–5 years+ of proven experience as a PGT Physics teacher in a reputable school.
  • Strong subject knowledge in core physics domains: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, Optics, and Modern Physics.
  • Proficiency in using digital teaching tools, multimedia resources, and learning management systems.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire students, foster a positive learning environment, and support inclusive education.
  • Willingness to participate in professional development, workshops, and school-based initiatives.
