We are seeking a skilled and experienced VMC Programmer with a strong background in mechanical engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, operating, and optimizing Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to achieve high-precision manufacturing goals.---Key Responsibilities:1. VMC Programming:Develop and implement G-code programs for machining operations using CAM software.Optimize tool paths for efficiency and precision.2. Tool Selection:Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures based on material and machining requirements.Monitor and manage tool wear and replacements.3. Precision Measurement:Perform dimensional and tolerance checks using advanced measuring instruments (., micrometers, calipers, CMM).Ensure components meet specified quality standards.4. Blueprint Reading:Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical specifications.Apply blueprint data for accurate machining and production.5. CAD/CAM Software:Use Solid Edge CAD for designing components and assemblies.Program and simulate machining processes in NX CAM Software.6. Quality Control:Conduct first-off inspections and collaborate with the quality team to address discrepancies.Continuously improve machining processes to reduce cycle time and improve output quality.---Qualifications:Education: Diploma (DE) or Bachelors Degree (BE) in Mechanical Engineering.Experience: 5 to 7 years of proven experience in VMC programming and operation.Technical Expertise:Hands-on experience with Solid Edge CAD and NX CAM Software.Strong knowledge of machining tools, materials, and precision measurement.
