Nesco Resource is looking for an experienced Looms Creeler in Hickory, NC.

Shift: 1st

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check daily sheet for orders
  • Check all safety harnesses and safety equipment prior to start of and during shift
  • Load yarn and ensure proper string up through tensions and eyelets to the front of the creel machine
  • Check that strings are correctly loaded in eyelet bars and ensure broken strands are found and restrung in a correct and timely manner
  • Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder safely
  • Determine creel types and setup machine correctly
  • Load creel according to loom schedule
  • Tie start end of new package to tail of the removed package
  • Some use of latex gloves during this operation

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2-5 years experience in predominantly manufacturing environment
