Low Voltage Cable / Fiber Technician

Job Description Job Description Summit Riser Systems, Inc. is currently seeking a lead technician for our Orange County service area We are currently seeking an experienced technician who can work independently with little to no supervision. Job duties would include: Installing fiber, coax and low voltage cabling within building riser systems to include cable placement, termination, testing and labeling per code and EIA/TIA industry standards. Installing structured cabling within tenant suite spaces. Cleaning up and removing abandoned cabling and equipment from within building riser systems. Walking jobs and meeting with customers. Closing out projects with the regional manager/corporate accounting. Conducting quality control checks for our installations. The applicant should be familiar with high-rise building phone room infrastructure, MPOE’s, service provider technologies, circuit extensions and proper installation methods for fiber and copper cabling.
