Job Summary

Midland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, provides advanced pavement preservation solutions for our customers’ needs. We are actively recruiting for Lowbed Drivers for our New York operations, out of our Lyons, NY facility. The pay range for this position is $29-$34 per hour. The shop rate is $20/hour.

Main Responsibilities

  • Haul equipment (mostly over width) and materials to various job sites throughout New York State

  • Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of assigned vehicle: This requires climbing up, on and over unit to verify everything is in proper working order.

  • Haul emulsions and hot liquid asphalt throughout New York State

  • Experience hauling over width equipment and/or oversize loads preferred
