What you'll do:

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for definition of equipment and related performance. This includes documenting equipment specifications, design and validation results. Support the approval of equipment during Machine Buy Off, validation builds, Run at Rate, etc. The Automation Engineer will establish a robust evaluation and documentation of first equipment implementation to allow easy yokoten of Automation to other production cells locally and globally. Assure replication of equipment considers continuous improvement. Assure productivity levels are met or exceeded. Design release in PLM/PDM system consisting of Bill of Materials, 3D and 2D drawings of components and assembly, electrical schematics, pneumatic diagram, robot and PLC programs.  Documented results of successful Buy Off events with part production at rate with acceptable quality.
