Therapist For YCOT (Youth Crisis Outreach Team)

Role Responsibilities

The Therapist provides direct services to youth aged 3-17 that have recently experienced a mental health crisis. Many of these youth may be diagnosed with serious and pervasive mental illness. The desired candidate must have diverse, well-developed clinical skills as well as rehabilitation skills, working with a wide range of behavioral and substance use problems. The candidate will be well versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), brief solution focused therapy, group therapy as well as a conceptual understanding of assessment, crisis management, family systems, case management and coordination of services and community resources. Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary treatment team within a multi-faceted behavioral health care delivery system.
