Hello future LUT Summer Trainee!

Would you like to work at a university during summer 2026 and take part in research related to topical themes in electric mobility? We are looking for a LUT Summer Trainee to work as a Junior Research Assistant in the activities of EMRC (Electric Mobility Research Center) for summer 2026.

The position is located at the LUT School of Engineering Sciences (LENS) and carried out as part of the activities of the Electric Mobility Research Center (EMRC). EMRC focuses on research related to electric mobility and works in close cooperation with companies and other stakeholders.

What will your work include

As a Summer Trainee, you will work as part of the EMRC team on data-driven research tasks related to electric mobility. Your work will focus on collecting, processing, and analyzing data related to electric vehicle usage, charging behavior, charging infrastructure, and energy systems.
