What You’ll Do Analyze incoming deals: Review financial information as deals enter the pipeline to determine whether they can debt service and support a workable acquisition structure.
Build valuation models: Prepare valuation models using the firm’s templated financial framework, incorporating seller financials, add backs, and assumptions.
Assess deal viability: Evaluate whether a deal has the potential to cash flow and meet return expectations under realistic financing scenarios.
Design deal structure options: Develop one to three viable structuring options that balance cash flow, lender requirements, and buyer outcomes.
Support deal presentations: Assist in reviewing and presenting deal economics and structure to internal teams and partners.
Improve modeling tools: Identify opportunities to simplify, refine, and improve the firm’s financial models and analytical workflows over time.
Ideal Experience Hands on experience building or working with financial models.
Familiarity reviewing P&L statements, balance sheets, add backs, and normalized earnings.
Comfort evaluating and discussing deal economics and structure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High analytical ability paired with intellectual curiosity and rigor.
You Should Have A strong self starter mindset with a desire to continuously improve technical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and sound financial judgment.
The ability to work independently while supporting a fast paced, remote deal team.
Motivation to grow into greater responsibility, including future team leadership.
