Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is partnering with a dynamic software company to recruit a Commercial Contracting Attorney/M&A Counsel. This is a short-term contract opportunity,

Position Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 1-3 months
  • Hours: 20-40/week
  • Location: Remote
  • Compensation: $95-100/hr (commensurate with experience)

    • Position Description

  • Our client is seeking M&A specialist attorneys with 5-7 years of relevant legal experience to assist with an influx of deals
  • Attorneys will push along diligence reviews and definitive agreement negotiations on a couple of deals and also support on smaller investments
  • Attorneys will look through the target’s vendors and agreements to find particular contract provisions which would make the acquisition unpalatable
  • Extensive experience in corporate law and familiarity with various contractual clauses and provisions that are risky for M&A deals is required
  • License to practice law in any US jurisdiction, active and in good standing, is required
