Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Dublin (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 remote)
Contract: Initial 6-month day rate (with potential extension)

Role Overview
My client is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and deploy ML models and AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and software teams to create scalable, production-ready machine learning pipelines that drive business insights and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions

  • Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, and deployment

  • Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate ML solutions into production systems

  • Monitor model performance, retrain models, and ensure scalability and reliability

  • Implement best practices in model testing, versioning, and governance

  • Conduct data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation

  • Document solutions and share knowledge with team members

    • Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role

  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent

  • Experience with ML frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn,

  • Knowledge of cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP AI Platform)

  • Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and SQL/noSQL databases

  • Experience with model deployment, monitoring, and optimization

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
