Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

 This position is an entry level machine operator or an operator that operates and monitors one technical production machine during initial training period under direct supervision. The position ensures proper procedures are followed and work is productive, safe, and efficient. This position is for 2nd shift and hours will be 2pm - 10pm, Monday - Friday. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibly for safely operating machines and equipment during training under direct supervision
  • Under direct supervision, perform quality checks of all products as outlined in departmental quality control on inspection procedures and be able to recognize product outside the specified tolerance
  • Developing responsibility for a clean and orderly work area at all times according to 6S along with identifying 6S improvements
  • Actively communicates with material handlers
