Operates a multiple of production machines such as saws, presses, drills, and other hand and/or powered equipment, as well as automatic presses and similar equipment which may require raw material to be loaded onto stock reels.
A Day In The Life
Performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot & perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.Inspect parts to specifications & adjust, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.Sets up & operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures & guidelines.Read & interpret blueprints & diagrams to select, position & secure machinery.Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications & in a timely manner.Make suggestions to supervisors for improvements associated with assigned work.Maintain a clean & orderly wor...
