Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec. We are currently looking for Machine Operators for rotating day/night shift for the weekend shift at our Metcalfe plant, Southern Ottawa.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operates Rekers machine (dry side) ensure its good functioning.
• Operate the strapping and wrapping machines and ensure its good functioning.
• Operates all the equipment related to the machine.
• Follow quality manual. Complete quality and production reports. Look after the curing of the products to ensure a good curing of product
• Perform set-up changes.
• Performs operations and necessary adjustments for machine start up.
• Programs equipment in accordance to the product requested. Make and save product recipes to ...
