The role involves cutting sheets of film for the SMT Department to finish. You will operate a machine set up for stamping cuts into plastic by inserting one sheet at a time and pressing go. Although fast-paced, quality takes precedence over speed. Over time, you will learn to operate the laser cutting machine, which requires more intricate and complex cuts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Cut sheets of film for the SMT Department.
+ Operate stamping machines by inserting sheets and initiating the process.
+ Inspect sheets after stamping for quality control.
+ Learn and operate a laser cutting machine for intricate cuts.
+ Maintain a focus on quality over pace.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 6 months of machine operating experience.
+ Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for 8-10 hours.
+ Flexible attitude to be cross-trained and assist in other plant areas.
