Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Operate slitter efficiently and productively against set goals

  • Loading and unloading of rolls on slitter.

  • Interpret and understand written information, (orders, SOP’s, Lam. and print roll tickets etc.)

  • Palletization, (building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications)

  • Bagging of finished rolls

  • Quality checks slit material Lay flat/measurement of slit web
    Print quality/print defects
    Roll/web tension and integrity

  • Enter accurate information into computer and on production forms.

  • Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls

  • Keep machine and surrounding area safe and clean

  • Spot and determine visual defects.

  • Cut out defects and splice together good material

  • Must comply with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and any job or department specific SOP’s. SOP’s may...
