Machine Operator

The primary role of a Machine Operator is to set up, operate, or tend to various types of cutting or forming machine tools or robots. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure accurate operation and high-quality output.

• Inspect workpieces for defects and measure them to determine the accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.
• Observe machine operation to detect any workpiece defects or machine malfunctions, and adjust machines as necessary.
• Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions, and plan operational sequences.
