Job Description

The role of a Level III Machinist involves working within a large machine shop, responsible for metal cutting, drilling, grinding, and deburring parts according to control plan specifications. The position requires operating CNC machines, staging parts, quality checking, and assisting in various tasks around the machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production, quality, housekeeping, and other duties associated with operations.
• Set up and operate CNC machines and transport material within the facility.
• Operate wash tanks and forklifts to move materials.
• Perform troubleshooting to solve everyday problems.
• Float from one machine to another as needed.
• Conduct quality checks using gauges, rules, calipers, and other measuring tools.
