MACHINE TECHNICIAN

Overview

The Machine Technician (Machining CNC) is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines and supporting production activities to ensure parts are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities: CNC Machine Operation & Setup

• Set up CNC machines (turning, milling, grinding, or multi-axis) according to work instructions and engineering drawings
• Load CNC programs, tooling, fixtures, and raw materials correctly
• Perform tool offset adjustments, part zero setting, and basic program verification
• Conduct trial runs and first-piece inspections before mass production
• Monitor machine performance during operation and make necessary adjustments
• Operate CNC machines to produce components within specified tolerances
• Ensure cycle times, productivity targets, and output goals are achieved
