Job Title: Machining EngineerJob Description
This role initially involves spending 50% of the time on the shop floor and 50% on programming or office work. Over time, it will evolve into managing larger projects and developing new processes, due to a promotion to supervisor of process engineering.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with quality, production, and other engineering departments.
+ Develop and troubleshoot complex CNC machining processes.
+ Utilize CAM software, with preference for SolidCAM and SolidWorks, to enhance machining operations.
+ Contribute to plant support initiatives while gradually shifting focus to larger projects.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in CNC machining process engineering or CNC programming.
