Emerson has an exciting opportunity in our Sherman, TX, location to join our team as a Weekend Shift Machinist (Friday, Saturday, Sunday AM-PM). If you are safety conscious, follow through on commitments, and work well in a team environment, this position is for you. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for producing parts of a high degree of complexity for the Sherman operations.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Producing parts and meeting all specifications and tolerance required from work orders, shop orders, and/or Fisher specifications.
  • Operating any machine, including manual and CNC machines, to its proven capability in a highly productive manner.
  • Coordinating setups and programming issues with machine shop programmers including setting up the part, defining work planes, and managing different geometries.
