Overview

Please find a brief description of the role (Mainframe Developer):

  • Work as part of DevOps Scrum team and be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining Mainframe applications.
  • Responsible for supporting the implementation of mainframe changes and post implementation support.
  • Designing and developing high volume, low latency applications for mission critical systems and delivering high availability and performance.
  • Contributing in all phases of development cycle
Qualifications
  • Hands on experience in programming using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS
  • Knowledge of batch and online programming.
  • Knowledge of using mainframe tools like SPUFI, QMF, Tivoli scheduler, File manager, version control tools
  • Knowledge of REXX, Z/OS connect is an additional preference.
  • Knowledge of Transaction processing is an additional preference.
